Hey there! I’m a Hmong-American storyteller with a heart for Jesus, a camera always nearby, and a deep love for capturing the beauty in everyday life.
Whether I’m editing wedding films, snapping dreamy portraits, or diving into creative projects, I’m all about telling stories that matter.
I run my creative business, By, Rosie—a little corner of the world where photography, film, and faith beautifully collide.
I’m also a podcast host, a sucker for nostalgic movies, crocheted creations, a good chantilly cake, and laying on the beach (minus the bugs, please).
Most days, you’ll find me juggling edits, starting a new craft project, dreaming up my next adventure, or sharing honest, heartfelt thoughts—always hoping to spark connection and remind others they’re not alone.
I’m currently based in Columbus, Ohio, where I have the joy of doing what I love—telling meaningful stories as a cinematographer, video editor, and photographer for a non-profit Christian organization. From behind the lens, I get a front-row seat to the incredible ways God is moving in people’s lives around the world.
That said, my heart loves to wander—and I’m always up for traveling to wherever your story takes place. Whether near or far, I’d be honored to capture it.
A little backstory: I earned my degree in Communications with a focus on Film & Media and Journalism & Mass Communications (yes, a mouthful, but totally worth it!). Along the way, I’ve worked with small businesses like The Bling Advisors and Something Blue Journal Dallas, big names like Hallmark, and conferences like LIFE, SALT, and Hlub—where thousands gather. Oh, and I’ve also had the joy of creating two short films with Eight Parables!
I’m beyond grateful for these incredible experiences and for the chance to collaborate with so many inspiring creatives. As I continue on this journey, I’m excited to see where God leads me, always seeking to grow as a storyteller and creative.
Through it all, I’m reminded that I’m co-creating with the Creator Himself, and it’s by His grace that I get to do what I love.
But enough about me—I’d love to hear about your story. Let’s create something beautiful together!
