Hi, I’m Rosie.
I’m a Hmong-American woman, a follower of Christ who is deeply known and loved by the Creator, and a full-time storyteller. I like to think of myself as a jack of all trades, with a passion for videos, photography, painting, singing, and mixed media. Capturing meaningful moments and memories is a joy, and I’m honored to be trusted to tell someone’s story. I pour my heart into bringing that story to life with each project.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of Missouri - Kansas City, where I focused on Film & Media and Journalism & Mass Communications.
Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working with small businesses like Something Blue Journal Dallas, Bling Advisor, and The Glossary, helping them create impactful videos that reflect their unique brands. I’ve also collaborated with Toast Wedding Films and Forever By Your Side Films, crafting wedding videos that beautifully capture the essence of each couple’s special day. Additionally, I’ve filmed and edited recap videos for the Hmong C&MA District conference events like HLUB (meaning love in Hmong) and SALT & LIGHT.
Through a cohort called Eight Parables, I’ve contributed to short films that point back to the heart of the Gospel. I’ve also had the opportunity to work with Hallmark, editing videos for their social media channels, including Instagram and TikTok.
Currently, I reside in Ohio, where I serve as a cinematographer, video editor, and photographer for a non-profit Christian organization. Here, I get to tell powerful stories of how God is working in people’s lives across the globe.
I am grateful for all these incredible experiences and for the chance to collaborate with so many inspiring creatives. As I continue on this journey, I’m excited to see where God leads me, always seeking to grow as a storyteller and creative. Through it all, I’m reminded that I’m co-creating with the Creator Himself, and it’s by His grace that I get to do what I love.
If you’re interested in collaborating to create something beautiful, I’d love to hear from you!
